windows kernel will occupy many MBs for sure
What I guess is:
sometimes Windows keeps some info of the software in the memory to facilitate
further loading although u can not see it in windows task manager
For example,just after a restart, to load photoshop takes 12-13 seconds on my
computer,
but if i close it and start photoshop again, it will only take about 3-4 seconds
Do not worry about it, but 256MB or more is recommended for win2000 |
