l******r 发帖数: 76 | 1 Dear all:
my friend worked in university.
However, six months ago, the dean told him that his position will be expired
in end of May, 2011.
Therefore, he started looking for job.
However, He found a job in a company.
As you know, He got the current H1B through the university which there is no
cap for H1B. Now, he will start his job in company. Do you think that he
is still OK for H1B transfer or he needs to apply for H1B?
He is so frustrated and think about going back to China for business.
Thank you very much and we appreciate your time.
All the best,

until 10/1 to start work.

You mean that whatever it is, his company needs to apply for his H1B.
He can't transfer his H1B status from University to company?
I'm sorry that I'm not familiar with H1B transfer.
Thanks again and I appreciate your time.
All the best,
