发帖数: 736 | 3 I just went to Consulate General of Turkey in LA this morning, for VISA.
I submitted below document
my passport
application form
one picture
round-trip airline ticket
bank statement
copy of green card
a pre-paid Fedex envelop for mailing back
Visa officer also asked for an employment letter, I showed him my company
badge with picture.
and $60 cash.
Then I got back a few words "I will mail it to you next week". There isn't
even a receipt to show he got my passport. |

发帖数: 736 | 5 I would suggest you buy your airline ticket first. Visa officer did ask for
my airline ticket, not hotel reservation.
BTW, I got my Passport with Visa back yesterday. It seems processed really
fast. The I was given only 15 day stay, barely cover 14day round trip ticket
time. |

发帖数: 78 | 8 I need to apply for the visa from LA consulate too. may I ask how you got
the pre-paid Fedex envelope? I went to Fedex online and local store and the
staff told me I can only get a pre-paid shipping label one week before the
actual shipment.
