It'd be interesting to know what is good for the human society, every
one would have a different set of standards, even for "good" politics,
the scope of benefit seldom extend beyond national or region interests.
Looking back on the history of wars and economic development, the benefit
of one society was too often gained at the expense of another society,

In the world right now, it is a fact that some people's opinions are
better than others.
It is also a fact that some policies can only be understood by
a small part of people. This must be included in a political system
in some way.
Absolute democracy, which means everyone's opinion has the same weight,
can seriously hold back a nation's development. Because individual's

对政治有一点“真实”和“好”的要求绝不虚妄,虽然要求"纯粹的，完美的政治真实和好

的. 政治和人类社会的问题缺乏数学甚至自然科学的确定性,并不说明都是不确定性的.与
自然科学做个类比,对"真实"的要求有两种:真的事实,和正确的理论.
所谓"真的事实"是指,CLINTON是否和MRS.莱 HAVE A SEX RELATIONSHIP; NIXON是否窃听
了民主党,XXX是否贪污了YYY等等. 有些事实是可以确认的,有些则缺乏足够的证据和信息
,但要求这样的真并不虚妄.
"正确的理论"是说政治家提出的一项政策其目标是否合理(相对于我的利益和信念),其结
果是否能够实现目标(他是不是在说谎). 对这样的东东,要确认其真假比较难.首先,不同
的人有不同的利益需求; 其次,最终的判断只能是事后诸葛亮式的; 最后,人类社会的复杂
性基本排除了"正确的理论"的存在性,而我们只能要求比较合理的理论. 虽然难,但还是要
判断,政治家需要决策,需要回报投给他/她选票的选民和利益集团,需要实现自己的 | D****N

not your words, when people argue about abstract stuff like this, the
ultimate goal is generally to prove his/her opinion right, word-play
and logic-twisting is usually harmless. But in political arguements
the results often involve factual benefits and losses. I was reading
the newspaper today, on one side there is a report on how Americans
are stunned and agnoized about American POW being televised in Arabian
