got involved w this player a few time, he would call behind in pos pretty
widely, capable of stealing in weakness.
I sit w $20, raise KTo .75 utg
villian utg+1 call
flop 89T rainbow
hero?
against a normal tight reg at this level, I usually just bet 2 street and
go from there, but I feel I might get into a difficult situation pretty
easily w this guy. so i check raise and ended up getting it in on the flop
against QT.
thoughts? I think by heating up on the flop, I allowed weaker hands in his
range to get in. though its probably a okay move at best? as there r many
hands I would be behind agst
if villian called my checkraise, probably should bet one more time on turn
and give up after that? | p******a 发帖数: 975 | 2 KTo is a very tricky hand to play UTG. It almost never hit the nuts, and can
be easily dominated by hands like AT, KJ, KQ, AK. My general suggestion is
that just don't play this hand in early positions.
It is difficult to comment on this perticular op without VPIP/PFR/3b etc...
According to your discription, I guess this guy raise flop/ bet the turn a
lot. If he raise-shove with QT or worse very often, then you made a perfect
play. Otherwise, this is a not a good flop to cbet. I would check and
prepare to call two streets.
Since this guy called you UTG open with QT, I guess either you open very
wide or he is not really a very capable player. In either case, it will be
better if you open with a stronger range and play mainly for value. | d*****0 发帖数: 1500 | 3 what do you mean "get it in on flop"?
it was a normal 3bb raised pot.
Did you guys check/raise/reraise/shove on this hand?
More detail pls... | W********m 发帖数: 7793 | 4 Check-raising and geting it in on the flop is 99% suicide, and 1% he has Q10

and thanks for the slap MM sir~
it seems like I had overplayed my hand. Now that I thought about it, I
think one thing was I played the hand with the goal to win it, while I
should try to evaluate my situation instead. |
