T*********k 发帖数: 1621 | 1 I didn't post hands very often recently. I am playing old-man poker so many
hands were not that exciting. Just routine. Win a little money here and
there. Don't remember I sucked out sb. in recent months. My playing style
nowadays decides when the money got all-in, usually I would be ahead. A few
times I gambled and was behind, I never hit anyway.
So last Friday I was in Borgata AC. Yes, it was the Borgata. Won like $300
in 2 hours playing NL2/5. Table broken.
I went to NL1/2 , certainly my stack became yoyo. In 15 mins, lost first $
200 buy-in, made a stupid river call with top pair against a LAG who was
bullying everyone. He hit flush on the river and overshove, I tried to make
a stand and called like 80bb shove. Lost.
Bought another $200. A couple hand later, a few limping. Raised $15 with QJo
at btn, sb and LAG called. Flop Kh 9d Td, check, check. I bet $35, sb
called, LAG shoved $500. I snap called. SB folded with only $70 left. Turn
Tc, River 5c. LAG sheepishly said he had two pair and turned over K5o. SB
said he had flush dr. I ask him how could you fold flush dr with so much
money in the pot? But I was happy anyway.
A few hands later, sitting like $500+, limp, limp, limp, I was at hijack and
looking at 88s. Squeeze and made $20 to go, btn called, and 2 others called
. Flop J, 9, 8 rainbow, somewhat ok flop for my set. check, check, I bet $50
, btn made it $120, all fold to me, I asked how much he left, he said
another $100. Seems an easy shove. So I all-in, he snap called. Turn a T,
dang! I had a bad feeling. River blank, and btn turned over QQs. LOL, he
slowed played it and got lucky.
Now I stuck again and tilted. Raised KQs @ LP, a lady and a short stack
called. Lady just got wiped out with flop two pairs and got beat by a guy
with flush draw and hit runner runner trips. Flop K 5 2 rainbow, I bet $25,
lady made it $60, short stack called. I got freaking headache, seemed like I
got beat but how? There are no draws either. Anyway, my tilting mind
decided to put them all-in. The lady hesitant a bit and put her last $100 in
and so was the short stack. They both turned over AKo. I sighed and
prepared to waved white flag and rebuy, turn another Q, Dang!
I said "I am so sorry" and turned over KQ. Lady and short-stack fainted and
left. I immediately cashed out also. When I played this bad, cashing out
seemed like a correct decision. Need hit and run before anyone got lucky on
me. LOL.

| T*********k 发帖数: 1621 | 3 Went to NL 2/5 table and bought $200.
A few mins down to $135. A guy in EP raised $30, fold all the way to me at
btn with AKs. I shoved. The guy tanked and then called. "I gamble!" he
yelled. Flop T, 7, 5, I though "ugh", but wait, he was yelling "9, 9, I need
9". Ok, you are still drawing? good. No 9 on the river. I felt I was
winning. until that guy told me "I only have a T". What? He turned over T9o,
f**k, no wonder.
Re-bought $250. Was raising a lot in LP and stealing the pot before this
hand happened. Limp all the way, and I raised to $25 with 77s. 9To guy then
3-bet to $75 @ sb. Folded to me. My stack didn't allow me to call because I
didn't have enough, but I just felt he was making a play at me because, like
I said, I raised a lot in LP and just stole a few pots in a row without
showdown. A loose cannon could 3-bet me with any kind of garbage. So I
called extra $50 and see the flop. Flop 9 T J. A terrible flop for my 77s. I
was ready to give up. He bet $65. Mmm... such weak bet, what does that mean
? I felt like based on our stack size (he got $500+, mine $200), he hit set
or two pair or KK+ or Top pair with str draw, any of those hands he gonna
bet more than that. He is not that a tricky player which like to trap with
monster hand. Such small bet felt like he missed the flop with AK or AQ or
some small pairs. For some reason I hated to just call let him see next card
. I decided to shove $200. 9To guy called pretty quick. No! I misread, sigh.
But wait, he was yelling "K, K, K" again. What? You are drawing again? you
have KJ? I don't believe you this time. Blank and blank. He turned over AQo,
I showed him 77s. That set him off:"unbelievable! unbelievable!" Two Asian
guys sitting next to me ask in owe: "pocket 77s? " I pretended to be cool: "Easy shove. I put him on nothing".
In retrospect, I hate the way I played this hand. Should have just folded on
the flop. Too much risk and not enough reward. Even though I was pretty
sure he missed the flop, but even a few hands in his range missed will have
a ton of outs beat me. I only have decidsively advantage over 22s - 66s.
five hands total. I maybe a little ahead against Ak and little behind with
AQ. Playing with such margin of errors is a sure way to lose money. But why
not. I need to stop grinding for a while. hehe.
Last hand of the night: All fold to me, I was at cutoff again. Checked my
card "AA". Oh, everyone folded? I was little disappointed but raised anyway
to $25. btn fold and T9o guy raised to $125 @ sb. Couldn't be happier. I
played my chips for like 20 secs, tanked another 10 secs. asked him, "how
much you left?" He counted and then answered "$165 or sth". "Only $165 left?
Damn, you should buy more chips earlier", I thought to myself. Then told
dealer "all right, I am all-in". T9o guy quickly called.
Flop K, 7, 2. T9o guy was so happy and told dealer "thank you! thank you!
thank you" What? I was just tired of listening to you yelling before seeing
your hole cards. You hit set on me? Nooooo!
After the cards dealt, I asked him"what you have?" He proudly turned over
AKo. I was so relieved and turned over my cards. He fainted. and I hit and
run again. | p*******p 发帖数: 13670 | 4 事实证明,能赢都是靠suck out呀,哈哈,提高suck out技术才是王道,什么odds,什
