发帖数: 1128 | 5 呵呵。。。算了，我没有pro需要的纪律性，还有也不会省钱，老是tip很多，前段时间
tip的稍微比以前少一点，但坚持段时间又觉得dealer也挺不容易的，再加上他们对我
都很好，又大方tip起来了，今天最后一手牌pot很大，tip了dealer 30刀，最近都不知
道tip了多少这样10刀以上的了，反正老是想着靠省小费这点钱也省不到哪里，而且每
次还搞得自己不舒服，觉得太小气了，所以现在我也懒得扣小费的门了，我每次都对自
己说这点钱没啥，少call一次烂牌就好了。而且最近看到某些grinder小气得不得了，
很多时候都不给小费，但他们也赢得也没我多，所以现在我想通了，不管给多少，只要
给得让我觉得舒服就可以了，不要省了几刀但心里确难受别扭，不划算。

也是以输500多开始的，然后慢慢把stack打上去的，有一盘关键牌打得不错，当时我拿
着KJo MP raised 到40，因为有人straddle 10,所以raise得比较大，UTG and UTG+1
call. flop Ad Q 3d, UTG loose passive guy bets 40, UTG+1 folds. I call. Turn
blank, UTG bets another 40$. I know he is weak. He is either on flush draw
or he has a weak ace. I ask how much he has left, and he says about 170$. I
have about the same left, which is enough to get him out of the hand. So I
push all in knowing he cannot call with any of his range, and he then folds
his hand. After I won this hand, I started to build up my stack quickly. I
played very gutsy the whole session, and I was not afraid to go all in when
I have the best. The swing is very big in this game. One super LAG lady lost
about 1000$ in about an hour just after I sat down.

一般收入，业余玩玩的，几千上下可真不是小钱，几百可能都不是，不是说一半美国人
连两千块应急资金都木有么？
经常看别人输了一个$200的buy-in，有时候可能还是一个过山车一样的大起大落
session，就只能摸摸索索的整出个有零有整的$65大洋什么的short buy-in...然后不
到10分钟清光回家。
没有online，这个池子还是太小太浅，上次要俺stake他的那个小伙子后来再也没有出
现。

发帖数: 9164 | 22 hehe. the most amount that I ever tipped in live poker is 8$. It was 5-
10NL and that pot was around 5k$. There were some argument with the hand
back then and the dealer had to call the floor over and took quite a while
for a decision. It delayed dealer making more tips. Also, the dealer was
on my side. Do not feel bad though. I saw with my own eyes that Brian
Rast(the guy who won two WSOP bracelet last year) not tip a single $ when
he won a 300K+ pot. they had deal to tip each dealer 25$ for a 20 minutes
session though. Same deal happens in Balwin room .
Casino table game dealers in lot of place is seriously over paid
job,IMO.

EV and UV (psychological Utility Value) by a very mathematical guy.
At beginning, you play good and win some money, you feel happy. it is +EV
and +UV.
After playing a while, you win some small money by right play, but you feel
nothing. It is +EV but 0 UV.
Some guys feel so good when they outluck others on table with bad play. that
is -EV but +UV.
And some guys stop pushing, when they know villain is poor, and don't want
to get more money from him/her. And they feel good about what they did. that
is -EV but +UV
I think that explains why ppl like to tip a lot or always come back even
they know they gonna lose.
As long as most poker players are not seriously making a living by gambling.
Playing for fun (+UV) is the most important factor,they will do whatever to
make themselves comfortable/happy, which NITs can never understand, haha |

I think UV has lot to do with the variance of gambling. these villians
tip a lot when they are winning a hand,even they are long term loser in the
game. It is not really because they are so generous or have a high moral
standard. Most of them would not tip 10$ when they buy a burger in Mcdonald
since they do not win anything. But the guy making burger are working as hard as
the guy who deal him a winning hand.

am happy. I want dealers to be happy also. Plus, big pots usually take much
longer time to play out, which reduces the rate of dealers. That's why I
always tip more with big pots. I know a lot of grinders there, and for what
I know, I tip more than any of them, but I made more money then they did. So
, please do not define a long term loser or winner according to the way they
tip, that's just ridiculous. Stingy tippers are not necessary good players,
and generous tippers are not certainly bad players either.

常见了。看过2P2上一个贴上说:1-2NL are suckers, and 2-5NL are suckers who
have money. 呵呵。。。有时觉得有点道理。至少3－5NL上我是没看到几个玩得好的，
所以我现在玩起来都很镇定，很稳，没有压力，所以效率都很好。

发帖数: 1128 | 29 是一个将近3000的POT，dealer感激不尽的。其实我一般都是这么tip的，上次那个近
2000的pot我也tip了20刀，然后那些1000多的pot我一般是10刀，所以可能比一般人要
tip的多，但其实也不算什么。

变得有action，我一般很少limp，要么就raise，要么就fold。打起来也很猛，尽管没
有nuts,但我该raise照raise,该all in 照all in。等我有空写写我是怎么用几手牌把
我的stack从250打到3500的吧。

young guy who rarely tips. He plays there everyday, but then I wiped out
him several times, and dealers were so happy whenever he lost. I haven't
seen him at least for a week now. So, improving your game is the correct way
to go for making money in long term, not tipping less, in my opinion.

我意思是如果不是靠这个吃饭的话，爱tip多少就tip多少，只要自己觉得舒服，每个人
都开心。如果是靠这个为生的，那最好不tip，但如果不想招来不必要的麻烦，就尽量
按照正常的rate tip。没有绝对意义上的对与错。
