transferred to my account. I sent email to ftp support and haven't heard
from them yet.
Today I withdrew another $650 from my account and this time the bank
transfer option is completely disabled.
The wire transfer is too expensive and I have only left using check withdraw
which requires me to send email to support asking for enabling that option
and I am not even sure they will honor the check.
How do you guys withdraw money then?
Thank god I only deposit couple hundred. If this continues, I may just stick
to live game and play minimum online poker. |

since as said before, they haven't taken e-check deposits since last nov.,
but at the same time, converted a lot of withdrawals to wire (cost them a
lot).
and if you dare, you can "deposit" and then withdrawal and then close the
bank account during this looooong delay, you'll rob FTP for free.
even for those pending deposits, i doubt how long it will take for FTP to
get the money, if ever.

usually they just transfer the bank transfer to wire in a couple week. now
they are not doing it any more. I guess that cost them too much. if you can'
t get your money out, even you close your bank account , you are losing
money because you actually win some money from the game and rakeback, now
you can't withdraw them?
I used wire transfer to withdraw $700 today, let us see what happens. Anyway
I don't play online game alot these days. the hourly rate for me is low and
it is additive cost me and lot of sleep. now add up the deposit and
withdraw problem.
I will suggest you all withdraw some money out, because it is no safety net
while ago lot of your money is sitting at gaming site with no insurance.

problems yet. None of them were even converted to wire transfer. So i think
it is case by case situation. I agree leaving too much money in ftp is not
optimal but couple k should be ok. Still need the roll to play after all.

their 40% market are from US and they are worth 4Billion now. I do not
think they can afford to lose U.S market. Online poker is still growing,
there are new opportunity exit ,you just need to adjust to new envioment.
NL ring game is getting tough ,just like Stud years ago. you have to learn
new game/format in order to survive.

as a ref, many said $15-20/hr for $1/2 is already very good.

yeah. some decent pro at commerce can make about 200/h at 10/20 NL game. of
course, you need decent poker skill and BR to do that. my poker buddy in
Vegas can make about 20k playing live 10-20 NL live/month.

doing business here will be too big, i.e., their profit margin will be much
lower here.
as for new game, many believed a few years back that PLO would take over HEM
. yeah, PLO did pick up some over these years, but far from the predicted
trend.
overall, it's a zero-sum game that only a small % of players always try to
find bigger edge over the rest fish group. HEM boomed because of its
simplicity and good timing, but as other games, such as those triple draws,
gets less popular, the smaller this fish group gets. i.e., it's hard to
believe an avg. HEM player (not even an always losing donk) would keep
trying new games where he is at even bigger disadvantage and could lose much
more.

take for much except playing good and avoid big loss through better bankroll
management.
I am bookkeeping my records in live game now. let us see how it goes by mid
year and year end.

new level. look at livb112 on sharkscope, already made 240k so far this
year on FTP alone playing HUSNG. He made another 100k on PS. Unlike cash
game, HUSNG is very steady. not much downswing as long as you are decent
