以我一般 stick to live game. 去年 AC 去了无数次, 也终于把会员卡熬成了
diamond.
可去 AC 一般只能是 weekend 去, 来回一次 5 个小时，周末一般开不到房间，所以只
能通宵熬夜，所以每星期一上班去， 眼泡总是肿的象熊猫， 整天萎靡不振。
今年 AC 去的很少了， 到现在只去了两次。 一次小赢， 一次大输。 主要是不想过夜
，当天来当天去，可是想，来回 5 个小时， 打牌也不过关5-6 个小时，所以总是想多
看牌，玩很多 garbage， 没耐心。
既然去赌场太麻烦，又有时手痒，所以就玩 home game 吧。可那几个玩 home game 的
牌友，可能是 TV poker 和 Tom Dwan 看多了，打 live 贼慢，连 pre-flop 都要做深
思熟虑状 tank 个半天。从晚上 8:00 打到 2:00 AM, 不知道有没有玩过 100 手牌，
大多数时间我只能发呆，又不能叫 clock. TNND

1) did you set up rakeback correctly? it's VERY important for cash game
grinders;
2) yes, rush poker gets FTP points very fast. i play for 200 points a day to
get my iron level ironman (2 25NL tables for about 2 hrs). i couldn't do
this at all before unless i play 100NL regular 2 tables;
3) no, FTP doesn't favor new accounts, but you feel lucky, lol. down the
road, you'll see swings like everyone, just relax and enjoy the learning
process;

发帖数: 1621 | 4 Yeah, I setup my rakeback account in fulltiltrakeback.
They just informed me that my rakeback account is now active and I can view
my rakeback report. But the report is showing my rakeback is negative. I
checked my FAQ and it says it is bacause I have sign on bonus and it count
as 100% rakeback. :((((
If PA's poker room open for this year, I will definitely give a try. It
saves me 2 hours round trip to NYC. Going to AC is just too painful
especially I don't have a lot of time during weekend anym | W********m

发帖数: 15860 | 6 yes, i knew. it's a big stretch going to AC and play only maybe 100-200
hands...
you'll lose almost a whole weekend, and if we indeed treat poker as a
business, all the costs add up (rake+tips, hotel, gas, tolls, bus...) to be
a lot, say, if we do 10-20 trips/year, you'll lose hundreds of valuable
hours in traffic.
AC is going down big right now, PA/DE/WV are going to have table games, and
already take a lot slots business from there. even MD is building its own
casinos right now. without NY + D

they're training dealers now at a community college, 300 ppl signed up and
will get tuition reimbursement if they finally join. they're hiring for part
time dealers too (damn, don't laugh, but i want to do it if i can, lol).
the pay is low, $8/hr base + tips. if you can deal multiple games, say BJ
too, a little higher. it looks like they'll split the tips at the end of the
day among all dealers. it's estimated about $200/day income in total for 8
