中间有一次pocket aces赢到200多，
然后又一把k 6 hearts hit 到 river flush赢到900多，赶紧闪人。
一个感受：比on line好打一些，raise 4 or 5bb 根本没有威慑力。
我aces raise到 25还是4家跟。
当时吓死了，早知道多raise一些。
aj suited raise到20也是一堆人看。
总之什么牌都敢看。犹豫的人很多，总是舍不得丢一些“看上去很美”的牌。 |

AA with 4 callers? indeed scary, anybody could hit big on flop...
low stake live games are indeed softer than online. an inaccurate comparison
is like 2/5NL live = 0.5/1NL online, or 1/4.
one pro wrote about this too in current issue of cardplayer magazine. he
said a lot of "winning" live players complained that they got confused (or
blamed "luck") when playing online, simply because they were ac

patient and pick your spot.
You can win the money really easy.
I would say I can normally get about $500+ every night in the local casino.
However I just start to play online game. There is no much comparison
between live/online yet. |

typical good winning players (way above average) make about $15-20/hr at 1/
2NL live games. it's not really a pleasant "job" in the long term (if not
moving up), with rakes/tips/drinks taking quite some off the profits.

700 using 100 buy-ins in live cash 1-2 game.
It is doable. But not every night. No way. Live game is looser than online
poker, but it is not that soft. You can't have fishes sitting at the same
table every time and avoid bad beats every time. |

I only play 6~8 hours either Sat/Sun at local casino. I do not have time to
play at weekday. :(
Also I take poker as a hobby and never think about working day in and day
out for the money. |

big" hands you can have for a whole night, sigh, and not run into "bigger"
hands.
weekday? hehe, better not, fewer "tourists" and more experienced grinders.

发帖数: 2063 | 10 I do not know. If you can win around 80bucks per hour, what kind of other
job can give you such profit. Plus the flexible schedule.
Plus you have protentially to go up to upper level. Just imaging it as a
promotion on other careers, from normal engineer to staff engineer, or from
principle engineer to manager.

发帖数: 4 | 11 How large is the data? It is based on 5 times? 10 times?
If you have like 50 times and the average is $500+, I would say your winning
rate is extremely good. However, I really doubt it. From my experience, it
is very likely that you can not catch a single hand better than ATo in 6
hours, given how slow live game is. Many people think that $15~$30 per hour
is doable for a good player, not much but way higher than online game if you
consider $/hand.
