发现NTRP的定义和地方有关。像NY，CA这样的地方水平比别的地方同级的要高些。以前
和一个偏远地方的4.5打，发现他在我们这连3.5都升不上去。要知道他在那里4.5的胜
率竟然还超过5成呢。
所以大家就不要为个0.5争来争去的了。我的目标就是早日成为solid4.0，然后就去打2
.5league的比赛。这样才能拿冠军亚。 |

不知道感觉如何？（自己以及对手）

charge $5000.

发帖数: 1158 | 6 前段时间参加了一个当地的比赛（硬地），结果报名报错了组，进入男子公开A组（4.0
-5.0).第一轮对手在LADDER里的LEVEL自报4.5. 比赛前俺以为会拿两个BAGELS回家，结
果最后1：2输的（6：4，0：6，3：6）。上周末又参加了另一项赛事（红土），不分级
，首轮对手是个4.0, 0：2输掉（1：6， 3：6）。那个4.5的比这个4.0的暴力很多，但
不稳定。
比赛和平时练习还是很不一样的，跟高手过招能够学到很多，找到不足，重点训练。呵
呵。

发帖数: 3016 | 9 Not that easy. As I mentioned, there are couple of solid 3.5 failed in the 2
.5 national finals. So I think you need solid 4.0 to nail the 2.5
championship. I know it sounds crazy. But if you only do it for fun, you can
attend any level play.

realy surprised to hear that some one got paid for playing USTA league.
I am just curious is there anyone here got Adult League National
Championship. If so, can you share your story?

我认为与men's adult league还是不一样的,也吵过了...当然你也知道history了.我想
在这里也只有我敢胆大包天与一个德高望重,有多次Championship经验的高手争吵.
anyway,总之我觉得没有right or wrong,大家讲明白自己的观点,和平落幕就好了.

发帖数: 3016 | 14 I think it all depends upon what you want to get out from USTA league play.
If you want Championship, then there are two options: 1) Organize a team
with a lot of C-rated sandbaggers and couple of self rated (1.0+ higher); 2)
Bao Thick Leg.
If you just want to improve, then attend the same level league. Bascially,
you don't learn much from the actual matches. You learn from a lot from the
practice oppurtunies.

maybe due to the fact that we started to play in a so late age
i even found some other asians from like Philipinos or Vietnameses are
better
players, maybe there are great Chinese players out there, they are just
too busy or not willing to play a slef-rated 3.0 player.

to 平时练习 with a new partner, i find he should be a lot better than me,
but after we play a serious match, i usually turn out the winner, how come?

out of 6 levels, but it was TT, not T:-)

for 12 years before i became national champion in 07 at Las Vegas.
I played 3 USOpens ( FL, Chiaco and Vegas), 2 nationals, the team league
i played was U2150, 3rd after Open, U2350, about tennis Under5.0

than TT since tennis is a lot more popular.
we only have about 7000 active competitors in TT, but for tennis
should be over 10 times if not more... |

got 50 teams. Each team 12 players. that is about 600 players just for one
level.
So I guess there could be 200K USTA league players national wide.
