flat serve(no spins at all) to be in, you need to be 7'11" tall. So even Yao
Ming can't do it.
That means for any serves to be in, you need some spins, you might flatting
it out more by applying less spins, but you still need spins.
So your max flat serve is the serve that you apply the least amount of spins
but still go in the service box. Go practice that one, whatever it is for

sevice line to net 21 foot
service line to the baseline of another side is 60 foot.
center height of the net is 36 inches.
no spin and even no gravity, the contact point higher than 102.86 inches
will do it. 102.86 inche=261.264 4 centimeter.170cm+forearm length+two third
of racket length is about to do that, don't count the stretching and hoping.
however, flat serve is a low percentage thing.

一点都不困难。既然你自称“大力平击，状态好的某天，成功率可以到70%以上”，
那就是说你有相当力量了，稍微改动一下握拍、挥拍和击球的拍面就可以把平击----这
简直是最初级学球者不正确动作--改过来。
即使没有教练教，亲自指点，拿个录像带或多看TV比赛实况看人家职业高手的动作也不
该做什么平击球的动作啊？
这里很多人都是高手，可都不发言，估计这应该属于不是问题的问题，懒得回答。
俺水平比较低，就自报奋勇出头抢答了。
若还处在平击发球，那应该<3.0，是很难打比赛。没有发球的话，打
比赛谁都烦。水平比你高的肯定不愿意和你比赛，就如同这里的高手连这问题都不
愿回答一样。
俺有过这种痛苦，所以俺是独自猛练发球，过了关，自动有人找上门对练了，也很
快能进入比赛，通过比赛提高实战经验。
正因为俺有过你这痛苦，俺来回答你这太初级问题，算俺心肠软，陪你练一次。

has its own advantages. for amateur players, it is a very good training
process to develop flat serve. because of its low percentage, you have to be
very strict on your balance, toss, the whole kinetic chain etc. this will
be very help for the developments of other services. as for low percentage
shots, there are so many others in tennis, serving towards lines is one as
well, so will you decrease your margin when your ser
