(1) In notebook business--and particularly netbooks, where Taiwanese firms (
i.e., Acer and Asus) are even more dominant--Taiwanese companies fare better
(Acer makes money and increases global market share while ASUS loses just
little).
Opposite is true when Taiwanese companies are at the bottom of totem poles
think its DRAM indistry).
(2) Then, Taiwanese OEMs and ODMs (for orginal equipment and manufacturing
