发帖数: 64 | 1 My wife and I came to the US on Nov. 21, 2006. I am on a F-1 visa, and she
is on a F-2 visa. I started my OPT on Jan. 1, 2009 and will change to H-1B
on Oct. 1, 2009 (already approved). My company has not withhold my social
security and medicare so far. My question is whether I need pay social
security and medicare for the entire year if I choose to be treated as a
resident for the entire year by filing extension and making the first year
choice. Thanks. |
