I am so sorry that my post got so many follow-ups and I didn't even come
back
to check out. I rarely come here and most of my posts are on the money
board.
I am an investor too, but different from most of you guys picking stocks, I
mostly invested in overall market trends through Rydex and Profunds. Most of
my study is about intermediate or long term market trends, sometimes of
different sectors. Advantages of trading the market trend through Rydex or
Profunds (special mutual fund families) are its free of commission charge
and
relatively saving of time, because you can only buy or sell at market close,
and usually you don't trade more than once a month. But if your system is
right, you are expected to beat the market consistently. My current
recommendation in general for long term is gold stocks or sector, which will
protect you from a bear market and devalued dollar. There is no way that
2002
was the end of bear because this rally started from PE over 30, while all
rallies from bear in the history started from PE less than 10.
For most of you that are not very familiar of trading market trend as a
whole,
you can spend a little more time doing research on the following links to
get
a start. I am convinced about the great bear still marching on from both
fundemental (US credit system on the verge of bankruptcy) as well as
technical
(cycles, crisis and antibubble theory) evidence. You can still get a lot
more
from links after links or google with those information at hand.
Even trading stocks, one need to pluge head out to see a bigger picture not
depicted by Wall Street. Wall street told people about a wonderful bull back
in 1929. | s********u

encouraging people to invest in gold way back in 2005.
