of course, I do TA and check news on these before trading them.
But I don't use FA much.
I am not investing but short-term speculating.

in call, it's moderately bullish.
in put, it's moderately bearish.
some has mixed opinions, if IV is low, I will go straddle,
if IV high and scheduled EVNT, I will go ratio credit spread if possible.

occasionally, there will be very big change with right direction.
I would say, >10% chance based on a week's observation.
unfortunately, I didn't make record for that.
I traded NTAP based on it. ER last week, with a bull spread.
that's the only thing I remember now.
COCO i used a calendar spread. still waiting for rebound, but
turned out to be too conservative.

historical data for testing would cost five figures for any statistical
significant result on such a big statement.
Nevertheless, the thing I am not happy with is
"put/call ratio is nothing" has nothing to do with my post.
You don't have to be that cynic.
