by word. It never happens.
I talked with several recruiters, they would spend at most 2 or 3 minutes on
resume in first round view, sometimes only 1 minutes. you did not put
valuable stuff on 1st page, you are in the 1 minute loop. What's your point?
Simple, short, clear. If you cannot do it, you are out.

Sorry for any exaggerate words if there's any.
For the resume, the most important thing is always the content. Any other
things are based on content. No one likes a resume in one page without
highlights. If you have a exceptional resume with multiple pages among all
the candidates, you got very little chance to be missed.
Recuriters lost patients at boring resume, some of them are long, but that's
not the reason, the reason why they are boring is they're boring.
You don't have to make yourself such inflexible by this kind of number
things, that's only some too simple rule for those who can not handle the
balance between the contents and succinct.....

recruiter like ColdBody, you survive. If you met the recruiters I met, you

While I talked with recruiters, one of old lady suggested long paragraph
instead of line by line. I really dislike it since I pre-filled some resumes
for my team before. I always lost patient with long paragraph. I asked
several other recruiters. They agreed with me. So I would assume line by
line works for almost all recruiters but long paragraph only works for some
recruiters like that old lady.
Like interview, suit works for everyone; T-shirt works for someone.
Your resume, you made your own decision.

other ppl dress in suit.

| | | s******r 发帖数: 1524 | 21 So why not share your experience as recruiter. Ppl would benefit from it.
It looks like you must work in different pattern as recruiters I met or you
are senior recruiter that only view filtered-resume. I still do not see any
reason for FRESH master to go 2+ pages. For recruiter to view hundreds of
resume per day, there is little hope for them to pay attention on page2 if
they can not find much on page1.
As you said, content is most important, extend would not help. Highlight is
more meaningful, that's why I prefer highlight line by line.
To win, you need to do better than others. That' why for resume, I think you
should
Simple, HR without any background can understand it
Short, Easy to track the keyword
Clear,
Some ppl can not handle 'short' well. They could survive as well but
definitely they lost some chance.
