biospace jobs
2. If you have preference for location, get some information as to which
companies, schools or institutions in that area may hire statisticians and
check their job site frequently.

For the objective, you may need to change it a little bit depending on the
position. For example, if it's a SAS programming position, would they think
that you are not a good fit because you want to do modeling?
In professional experiences, use past tense for the jobs in China.
You can have an "awards" or "other" section for fellowship, don't mix it
with professional experiences. Maybe a separate teaching experience section.
List the courses you taught maybe.

just FYI：
优点：经历丰富
缺点：不够条理，重点不突出。有些描述过于冗余。
建议：
1，简历大概有两页了吧？一定把和申请职位最相关的放在第一页，而且你
professional experience囊括太多了，甚至fellowship都有，显杂乱重点不突出。和
申请的职位有关的统计project，SAS experience，analysis experience之类才算是
professional experience。其他和统计关系不大的TA之类，另起一类work or
teaching experince放后。fellowship也另起一类放后。如果第一页紧张，我会把
course work放在第二页，如果有这一项的话。
2，恩，语言方面还欠修改。。。可以找学校career center的人改一下，多找几次，每
次都会换不同的人给你改。

into 1 page.

Would your boss dump an applicant just because the fresh graduate's resume
has two pages?
If you don't have 10 years solid experience, then you need to show your
research, project, internship experience, personality, other skills to prove
your potential.

day.
It is ture that one needs to show projects/internships/etc, but it gonna be
concise. The rule of thumb is: one should make sure that a person can
remember as much as possible by scanning the resume for 30 seconds. A longer

just one page after getting your undergrad degree for more than 10 years.

or 2 pages. actually some people might like a little more information to
prepare for interview.

很惭愧,学习期间虚度光阴,既没有抓紧时间,也没有确定好实际的目标和计划.所以简历
里尽是些可有可无的鸡肋.我会根据大家的建议,尽力改好简历.
由于本来并非统计专业,也是在断断续续的修了些统计的课程之后,加上个人的原因,才
开始对统计感到兴趣,所以中间跨过了不少年度,可能没有几个当初一起修课的同学还记
得我,现在认识的都和我差不多,正在忙碌找工作,没有什么network.
最后一点问题,网上提交简历的时候,有时候会让选择提交supporting files.我一般都
是pass(只要不是required).这个一般都选什么好? Certificate? transcript? Final
paper for project mentioned in resume?
