riding on a chair, someone on the slope asked me if I had been to a PMTS
camp. He said my style of skiing shows obvious PMTS movements.
Well, this someone was Jay Peterson, owner of SkierSynergy (skiersynergy.com
). In PMTS community, he is regarded as one of the best, both as a skier and
as a coach, almost as good as Herald Harb himself. He was a former national
level USSA junior freestyle competitor. Here is one video clip of his
recent skiing:

A short while later I caught up with him and we rode the chair up together.
I told him that I started to practice bits and pieces of PMTS for just over
a year but did not go to any camp yet and that I was thinking about going
one, either his camp on Mt Hood in June or Herald Harb's camp in Dec/Jan in
Colorado. After our conversation I determined that it would be a great idea
to attend his camp and get connected with some other PMTS skiers and
instructors in Puget Sound area.
Anyone interested in going that camp and learning PMTS skiing? One good

滑雪流派真是很多的。看过一个各个国家的ski demo team, 风格差别很明显。而
Alpine跟mogul还的差别从技术要领上说还更大。但是其实不管走什么路线什么风格，
滑的好不好，水平怎么样，看一眼，看stance/form，看转一两个弯，就能知道。滑雪
的确实没有一个唯一标准的运动。

wide stance where a significant portion of body weight in on inside ski to
trade balance for stability.

比如版上那位psia的教练，以前可是一听到有谁推崇HH的歪理邪说就要上来咬。
当然，本人是搓雪流的，不管pmts还是psia，都是歪理邪说。

发帖数: 1371 | 12 其实在平整、理想的雪道上，我还是建议大家尽量carving的！至于在晒得半化的软雪
上，一般人还是用大角度搓雪靠谱点点。建议前进方向和雪板方向10度左右比较保险。

发帖数: 3290 | 15 这个IntoTheWind是何徐人也，我觉得分析得很有道理哈！
对mogul没怎么谈，不过按照作者的逻辑，
竞技式的mogul滑法就别想从正常的psia/csia学了，因为根本就不在其大众教程里，
mogul camp估计也很大程度上看教练。
PMTS 因为技术的局限性，根本就不可能了
有一点我觉得作者说得很好，要把滑雪的科学成份与技术在概念成次分开，
前着是客观的普适的，后者则有很大程度的主观性
