发帖数: 3340 | 3 现在要做的是连接管道，先把上边的90度弯头连接好，tape严实了；然后把半硬铝管先
拉长（这就是半硬铝管的好处），把下端的塑料圈和hood连接好，这地方就不用tape了。
然后继续塞纸盒/书本啥的升高hood把螺杆穿过去。我是先把螺杆固定在hood上的，螺
杆/垫片在hood的吊孔位置放好，在hood里面螺杆头那儿用tape粘一下，防止螺杆前后
移动；hood外边那侧用塑料垫片卡住（拿塑料片扎个比螺杆稍细的孔做个能被螺纹卡住
的垫片），防止螺杆掉下去，tape贴在内侧可能一顶就开了。
再有就是可以拿段级细的铁丝啥的一头在螺杆的螺纹上缠一下，另一头留长点从柜底梁
穿螺杆的孔里先穿过去。
一个人干活的话找本黄页啥的可以扯的书，每次在hood下垫很小的高度，左右轮流多垫
几次就能把螺杆头升高到露出来了。不要一次把一侧升太高，这样会把螺杆卡住的。
螺杆挂上后的样子。螺杆规格是#10-32-3"；垫片用了2层，小的太小了，大个的开孔又
过大，只好组合一下用了。 |

副厂的一般来说只是外形一样，，可以挡掉一些光当时内圈的反光就不知道了...
还有，如果原厂买来的镜头本身不带hood的话，基本就没必要再配个hood了

。我的hood被撞弯了，关上后和fence有gap。对方的保险是allstate，做了assessment
让我去找个recycle hood装上。我先前去的bodyshop说可以把变形的hood给reshape回
去。我不知道是不是recycle的part质量怎样，还是就把我原来的hood砸回原形好。大

昨天中午在附近一个店里办事半小时出来后启动引擎后,发现有些尖锐的声音.于是马上
关掉引擎并拔掉钥匙.但是很奇怪,这时hood里还有震动的声音.边上车位里的人说声音
真terrible,并很快说看到hood里冒烟了.打开hood后,看到靠司机这侧冒白烟,并有烧焦
的糊味.一两位老美过来帮忙看,说可能是radiator或electronic的问题.两三分钟内又
试了几次启动/关掉引擎拔钥匙,终于跟平时一样可以正常关掉了,hood里不再有震动的
声音了.
印象里第一次启动的时候我没有看到仪表上出现异常的信号,比如温度异常升高.
一个小时后AAA司机过来,说可能是漏油,帮忙拧紧某部件,然后在后面护送我回家,路上
车辆行驶正常.昨天下午和今天早上开车去三家mechanic询问,路上正常.mechanic
看了以后都说没有漏油,空调也正常,都说看不出什么原因;其中一位也闻到糊味了.另外
早上我也试了高速,也没发现异常.
提一下,昨天早上出门时候不知已启动车了,又把钥匙扭了一下,引擎传来一些杂音,但随
后驾驶完全正常.

留的余地不是一般的大~~估计是考虑到体积
刚把100L的 hood后面顶着机身套上去，如果保证镜头在hood中心的话只有很轻微的暗角
看来可以DIY一个巨大无比的Hood套在X100上。。。 |

一直在东部，未曾有过glacier travel的经验，去年memorial day weekend和guide尝
试了这两座山，都在一半的时候由于雪崩的危险退了回来。当时感觉自己爬应该可以，
只要天气够好。所以今年定了独立日的机票。本来只准备爬Mt. Hood,但临时有一个
local guy说他可以爬Rainier，于是努力把这两座山压缩到三天，（不推荐如此紧凑的

家里的microwave hood 坏了, 想干脆换个range hood. 看了一下, 不知道下面两款究
竟哪个好一些.
1. Typhoon AC2100A, CFM 850, 看到网上最低的SS有$612, 没税
2. 三阳 CY-968, CFM 780, $560+税, 免费安装.
1比2的吸力大一些, 但是据说安装比较难, 可能需要请人安装. 不知道我们已经有油烟
管道的是不是会好装点.
2据说可以手拆, 放洗碗机里洗. 但好象这款网上很少看到推荐的, 不知道质量究竟如
何.
这里在装修的人多, 不知道大家都选的哪种油烟机, 在哪里买的啊? 谢谢. |

发帖数: 3340 | 36 首先说明，我买的是per-sale的新房，讨价还价的一个重要条件就是我可以改动floor
plan，这是一个虽然体现不到$但是相当有分量的条件，通常builder是不会同意的。
第一张是同floor plan的标准的厨房布局，其中花岗石台面、颜色、厨房设备（还没装
）等已经是upgrade过的了，我在这个的基础上改动的。
改动全部在靠外墙的炉子那侧：
1、去掉微波炉不要，同时把这个位置的柜子降低，以便降低hood的高度。
2、把oven从cooktop下边移走。
3、外侧加一个30宽的柜子做成built-in的oven/微波炉，同时这样可以把cooktop/hood
相对封闭，空气从一个方向流动，保证抽烟效果。
最后算了一下整体宽度比原来稍微宽了点，而且柜子多了些，builder说要加$300刀，
我还价说这样台面就少了一块，算起来要比$300还多，最后结果就是builder按我的要
求改，不加$。
hood比较了之后还是选择了Zepher Ak2100AS，是几个里最看的过去的。那时是6月底，
当时VentingDirect.com卖$500多。builder说他来买，$125的安装 |

default designed by Zephyr is to first screw the 4 long wood screws provided
by Zephyr to the cabinet bottom. Then lift the hood so that the the screws
are inserted in the 4 round holes on the hood and slide the hood back to
make screws sit in the rectanglar slots.
I got this from my superhandy friend after I installed mine using bolts (
what a pain) |

3相线是并列的极其好分辨，拿塑料帽连好hood出来的2根线，3相插头的地线连接hood
机壳，直接拿个螺帽拧在挂hood的螺杆上就是。
还有n个多余螺帽，给每边再加一个，双保险。 |

用起来很安静。
上个月卖400，这个月special变300了，electrolux的一款comparable产品是900。觉得
实在物美价廉。
加上有costco stand behind it，和超好的退货policy，又少一层担心。

准备换一个island hood,问题是灶台上面目前是日光灯，需要安装新的管道，顺便做一
下recess light。因为比较复杂，需要找一个有经验的师傅。如果知道LA附近有经验装
island hood的师傅，希望能推荐一下。如果是自己用过的，那就更好了。
准备周末和领导到华人工商上打广告的LA地区的油烟机专卖店看看，好像有妈妈乐，樱
