Bay Area home prices expected to surge this year
Staff San Francisco Business Times
Home prices in the Bay Area are set to outpace projected national growth
this year, says Zillow.com.
The real estate information company said home prices will rise significantly
in 244 of 245 Bay Area ZIP codes, with 27 of them seeing double-digit
appreciation.
The latter include San Francisco neighborhoods such as Noe Valley, the
Castro, Twin Peaks, the Mission and Bernal Heights.
Also seeing big gains will be Menlo Park, Larkspur, Palo Alto, Alameda and
North Berkeley.
