后来1.3M的现金在los altos买了个小黑屋。。。

5k per month for renting, the decoration in the house is different from
crappy house in Palo Alto(same price).
In fact, the 1.2m sfh in Palo Alto, on the average in the whole country, the
comparable price should be far below 200k, because 200k can buy a brand
new 2000 sf sfh in most part of USA.
So, it's reasonable 1.2m in PAlo alto can only rent out for 3k.
Also, SFH is different from apartment. Apartment has free water, pool, gym,
etc, so rent is high.

等回过神来价格都上天了.
当年我读书的城市十万出头就是很好的房子, 放PA就是豪宅.
