标 题: Contigency是一定要sign document才remove吗?

我的buyer agent,也是dual agent,他是这么说的,不知道可信否:
Don't worry about the contingency extension. You must remove your
contingencies by signing the contingency removal document. They do not
expire automatically. |

to be in writing, see Paragraph 14.B.4 of the Residential Purchase
Agreement.
However if you are buying a bank owned property and the bank has an
extensive addendum, you might be subject to a passive contingency removal,
in which case the contingency expires when time is up. You have to be more
careful in this case.
