I am wondering what other people in Software QA field would do on browser supporting test.
The web app I supported has a tech spec to support browser version Firefox 3.6 and up. However, Firefox releases a new version like every 2 to 3 months.
Based on our logs, we do have some users using different FF and Chrome version accessing the versions.
Would you really run regression on your application with all versions as FF 3.6, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9 and FF10? Or just picking latest FF 3.6.x and FF 9/10 for a regression testing?
I only pick 3 FF versions and installed them on XP/Vista/Windows7. Am I too lazy for doing this?
any comment or feedback are welcome. |
