I do feel tt play hurt my knees more than running, maybe because we always
try to twist our knees in TT playing. When running, there are several ways
to avoid knee injury. first, increase the running distance slowly, at most
10% each week, this also works for TT play I guess, do not increase your
workload(time_intensity) dramatically; second, doing warm up before start,
help to warm up the muscles around the knees to avoid any injury; third, we
often use ice to cool down knees after a long running to avoid inflammation,
it really helps. you can also do some cross training like swimming or
cycling to shift the impact of knees from running only. btw, triple flex
definitely helps.
