Looking for Senior or Junior Sales Engineer, company based in NJ.
Sales Engineer
What we expect from you:
BS or Master
Study of engineering or physics with focus on Physics, Optics, Micro-optics
and/or Optoelectronics or similar
0-3 years experience in technical sales of photonic solutions
Experiences and proven success in sales to industrial customers and Key
Account Management
Experiences in presentation of photonics products in need of explanation
Experience in negotiation of product specifications and contracts
Preferably well connected in the industry
Native language: English or Chinese, spoken and written
MS-Office, MS-Outlook resp. Lotus Notes or similar, SAP-CRM
High degree of self-initiative, professional appearance, ability to work in
international teams, willingness to travel
Your tasks:
Sell products of Optical Systems related to laser industry.
Present Optical Systems with its broad range of capabilities for customized
system solutions, standard products and services in a value selling-like
approach
Define Marketing and Sales Plan for US to meet sales targets in coordination
with the Business Development and Sales Managers
Develop and execute dedicated sales campaigns and initiatives in the
strategic target market segments
Identify and contact prospective customers in US and maintain a close
customer relationship
Identify customer requirements by professional consultation and selection of
possible projects due to economic and technical aspects and support
technical clarification as communication interface between customer and
business units
Customer visits in US
Handle quotations and negotiate orders
Manage or support contractual processes including order confirmation, import
/export, payment collection etc.
Provide regular updates about progress along the opportunity pipeline and
sales forecast
Build strong relationships to industrial, academic and institutional
partners in the photonic industry and the target markets
Develop regional business development initiatives and growth options based
on sound market and competitive analysis and act as interface with product
management about upcoming market trends and needs
Coordinate marketing campaigns (marketing communications activities, trade
show participations etc) and marketing deliverables for US customers
Manage approved and assigned local distributors and subcontractors
