could still be implicated. There could be many more people involved with
this. The house cleaning has began. When the process is over and the house
is cleaned, Penn State reputation can be restored. But for the victims,
there might never be a healing process.
Some people on this board do not understand the nature of this tragedy. Some
of them for sure have kids. Imagine you send your boy, or girl, to Penn
State and they got raped. The raper would still be with your beloved school
for many more years. Will you still love Penn State?
Penn State is obviously a great institution. But if it can't get rid of the
cancer, how can it be healthy? Ultimately your beloved Penn State is higher
than Joe. Penn State must show compassion for the victims. Joe didn't do it
in 2002, and therefore, he got what he deserved.
Some people question why others are so hyped and even question their motives
. The reason is very simple: it can happen to anybody, at anywhere. If we
don't speak up to make sure not only Penn State but also other universities
learn from this, the same thing may happen to my son or your daughter. It is
beyond ridiculous to see some seemingly highly intelligent people making
stupid comments on this board.
The only way out for Joe and his backers is to hope that the rape didn't
happen, and Sandusky was vindicated in court. So, keep your fingers crossed,
but don't hold your breath. |
