hostile reaction from the company. Since you are indeed asking for their
"mercy" or courtesy, to be politically correct, you can always put forward
whatever you feel comfortable, as long as your way of presenting the request
is decent, polite, understanding and thankful. It might be some emotional
bribery to the customer service people at the company. but hey, do not worry,
