2007.
Notices of default, scheduled auctions, bank repossessions and other filings
fell to 150,864 last month, a 7% decline from the previous month and a 28%
drop from January 2012, according to RealtyTrac. New foreclosure filings
fell to the lowest level since June 2006.
"We're now well past the peak of the foreclosure crisis," said Daren
Blomquist, spokesman for RealtyTrac.

confidence this month to its lowest reading since November 2011, according
to a report released Tuesday.
The Conference Board, a private research group, said its index of consumer

NEW YORK (AP) -- Game 7 drew the highest preliminary rating for an NBA
finals game since 1998.
The Lakers' 83-79 win Thursday night on ABC earned an 18.2 overnight rating.
That's the highest for an NBA game since Michael Jordan won his last
championship with the Bulls in Game 6 of the 1998 finals against the Jazz,
which posted a 22.9.
The rating was 32 percent higher than the only other Game 7 of the last 16

its supremacy, let’s look at their New Year bowl record against other
conference teams. Note that I can’t find any convenient stats on the
internet about this, I have to spend quite some time to figure it out myself
. Therefore, I have only done this since 2000 (just a round year). Also

The Deepwater Horizon is not the only well leaking oil into the Gulf of
Mexico for the last month.
A nearby drilling rig, the Ocean Saratoga, has been leaking since at least
April 30, according to a federal document.
While the leak is decidedly smaller than the Deepwater Horizon spill, a 10-
mile-long slick emanating from the Ocean Saratoga is visible from space in
