正常，但是医生还是要求吃药9个月，并向local公共卫生部report。前几天local公共
卫生部的人也打电话让我们给孩子服药异烟肼，并说要定期检查。先生配了药回来，看
了说明说后吓了一大跳，服药对liver副作用很大，而且服药期间有一大堆饮食禁忌不
能吃鱼、肉，cheese，现在小孩子每天要上学根本就管住饮食上面的禁忌，而且9个月
的服药期间药一天也不能停，否则容易产生耐药性。在mitbbs上搜索了一遍别人的以往
答复，还有不明白的地方，烦请解答：
一、如果不服药，
1、会有什么后果，比如local公共卫生部的人会不会天天追着我们，我们会不会因
此触犯法律，或者导致孩子不能上学的不良后果。
2、如果local卫生部的人追究，是否可以通过验血的手段，来证明孩子是因为注射
过卡介苗导致Bt阳性，而不是因为携带了结核病毒。
3、以后是否需要经常性的给孩子做BT,或者X-ray.
二、如果服药的话，
1、饮食上禁忌是否这么严格，因为药是一天一次的，是否可以在吃药后几个小时
内不吃禁忌的东西就不会有大影响，这样我们可以安排服药时间，因为学校里吃的东西
是管不住的
2、服药后，是否就没了结核抗体，回国探亲风险是否很大。

I don't think you need to be too careful on diet. Ask your pediatrician how
often you check liver function.
The positive ppd test may from bcg vaccine, but I am not very sure. The idea
in US is that TB need to be absolutely under control. They would rather
treat anybody who may have the disease if they don't . How about you see
another pediatrician who is from India, China etc. They may know more.
Another thing is to test antibody, ask your doctor. But you don't want to
ignore health department's advice without a doctor approval. TB is a
bacteria, not virus. In your kid's situation, it is not helpful to check how
much bacteria he has. He probably has nothing.
No worry about getting TB in China. He has been vaccinated, or even will be
treated.
No more x-ray. Probably need some blood test for liver function.

rate is pretty low.
there is no link between BCG and positive PPD reaction, except for an old
version of BCG once used in the UK. the lie that BCG causes positive PPD
test has been proved to be just a lie numerous times. you cannot fool public
health officials any more.

做了x-Ray,正常，并交专门的传染病医生读片，也没有问题，孩子也可以正常上学，医
生还给过我们背书。只是医生说按照规定bt阳性的都要报告公共卫生部门，并要服药，
而且检查中医生还反复问我们是否打过卡介苗。所以我不知道究竟是正常反应还是有潜
在危险，如果是后者当然要为孩子和公众负责。
我们一直都没有想着欺骗public health official,所以也买了药，只是看了说明书后
实在吓了一跳，正因为没有这方面的专业知识所以想在网上求助。不知道怎样才能知道
孩子究竟是否正常，毕竟只有一个孩子，总不能怀疑有危险就给孩子吃有很大副作用的
药吧。

需要杀死潜伏结核菌，这好像有点过。

Quantiferon is what I mean by antibody if that confused you. Myself has
positive ppd but negative Quantiferon. US guideline may not fit Chinese
because they have not used the same population for the study. Not every
doctor will treat positive ppd. I never told LZ not to treat.

I absolutely refuse to take the tb medications unless I have tb, which I don
't.
lz, I am a graduating medical student. if my institution is satisfied with
the quantiferon test, you should be fine using this test |

as HIV carriers, produce very high percentage of negative results in
culture-positive patients. their results are unable to be properly
interpreted.
besides, QuantiFeron tests have low sensitivities in regular adults. The in-
tube test has a sensitivity of only 90% for active TB infection in adults.
Gold isn't as sensitive as required by public health for screening and
diagnosis of latent infections either.

antibody initially. If you keep behaving like this, nobody will come to
answer questions. You can open your own Medicine club.
I am not an ID Specialist. Last time I checked Ppd is recommended for pts
younger than 5 years old.
And even things are thought to be right now are not necessarily to be right
in the future.
