那个兄弟姐妹帮我看看下面说的是什么。名词太多,看不懂。
谢谢。

FINDINGS:
Limited images of the lower brain demonstrate no gross abnormality. In the
axial plane, there is an apparent ring enhancing 7 mm lesion in the left
cerebellum, but sagittal images suggest that this appearance is created by a
looping tortuous vessel rather than a true focal lesion.
Rounded soft tissue densities in the left maxillary sinus and left nasal
cavity
may represent polyps or retention cysts. There is mild mucoperiosteal
thickening in the frontoethmoidal recesses. The mastoid air cells are well
aerated.
There is suggestion of asymmetric soft tissue fullness in the right fossa of
Rosenm?ller, although no definite focal mass-like lesion is appreciated (
series
2, image 13).
There is slightly lobulated asymmetric soft tissue prominence and
enhancement at
the left base of tongue spanning approximately 13 mm (series 2, image 24).
Just
inferior to this, there is suggestion of a somewhat linear hyperdensity,
although evaluation is compromised by motion artifact (series 2, images 26
through 28; series 4, image 28). The parotid and submandibular glands
appear
symmetric. The thyroid gland appears uniform.
Subcentimeter lymph nodes are nonspecific.

IMPRESSION:
1. Asymmetric lobulated soft tissue prominence and enhancement in the left
base
of tongue region, spanning approximately 13 mm. Just inferior to this,
there
is suggestion of a linear hyperdensity, but evaluation is compromised by
motion
artifact. Given the clinical history, it is possible that this linear
hyperdensity represents a lodged foreign body.
2. Asymmetric soft tissue fullness in the right fossa of Rosenm?ller,
without a
discrete mass-like lesion.
3. Rounded soft tissue densities in the left maxillary sinus and left nasal
cavity may represent polyps or retention cysts. There is also
mucoperiosteal
thickening along the frontoethmoidal recesses bilaterally.
4. Recommend ENT consultation for consideration of endoscopic visualization
to
further evaluate findings above. Findings and recommendations communicated
to
voicemail for Dr. Yao. |
