P*****a 发帖数: 2464 | 1 一个多月前重感冒,很重很重那种,先是嗓子痛,后来都说不出话来了,咳嗽不止。
不过不发烧。
持续一周多。
期间发现颔下淋巴结肿得很厉害,很硬但不痛。
再后来吃了些消炎药感冒好了,淋巴稍小了一些,
可是最近一个月就不往下消了,还是很大。两边都有。
前几天去看医生,做了ultrasound,
说是两侧特别是颔下腺周围有几个淋巴结肿着,
让过阵子再不消再做一次。(不过最近都没消,再接着消的可能性是不是不大啊)
查血好像基本正常,血小板稍低于正常值。
后来又做了MRI,说是diffused neck adenopathy,没有tumor/mass什么的。
医生说建议再做一些blood test,加上淋巴穿刺。
要是再查不出什么就切一块淋巴下来看。
怕死了。MRI加ultrasound也还是不能排除淋巴瘤的可能么?
所以就上这里来问second opinion了。。。

of tissue (biopsy) and look at it under microscope. Imaging only tells you
how big it is, shape, quality of the mass, how fast it is growing (scanning
at different intervals) etc. Statistically, reactive lymph node as a
response to inflammation is common, lymphoma is rare. Therefore, doctor
usually order biopsy after he has tried everything else and the mass does

node. To rule that out is why doctor orders biopsy.
You do not know for sure that a lymph node is reactive to inflammation
unless you look at it under microscope. However, most enlarged lymph
nodes are reactive. It usually goes away after inflammation is gone.
