找到一个formula，不知道准确不？大家帮confirm一下。
Radiologist查了一下，mean是400k，看到是有outsourcing的，但是还没有见到
radiologist下岗的。
Formula to become a Radiologist:
1. Do well in high school, extra-curricular activities, and on the SATs to
get into a top 50 college (look at US News ranking).
2. Go to a good college (4 years), do well in college (GPA over 3.6), take
all the required pre-med classes (math, physics, biology, English), and
enjoy science. No C's and only a few B's allowed. Take the MCAT and score
over 30.
3. Go to medical school (4 years) and be in the top 25% of your class. Take
the US Medical Licensing Exam and score in the top 25% of medical students.
Apply for Radiology residency and 1 year internship and get letters of
recommendation from your professors. Medical schools cost around $30,000 - $
50,000 per year - take out loans.
4. Do a 1 year internship in medicine/surgery - you will be working between
60-75 hours per week and getting paid about $15 per hour
5. Do a 4 year Radiology Residency and pass the American Board of Radiology
Exams (take about 9 months of studying morning, noon and night to pass these
steps). You will be working about 55-65 hours per week and getting paid
about $18-22 per hour
6. Apply for and go to a Radiology 1 year sub-specialization Fellowship. You
will be working about 55-65 hours per week and getting paid about $22-25
per hour.
7. You are now about 32 years old. Apply for a Radiology job and start
paying back your $175,000 average debt for medical school.
8. Enjoy being a Radiologist!

发帖数: 411 | 6 happen to know someone there. Anyways, pay is very regional, 250k-300k first
year, 1-2 yr to partner if you are partnership track. Employee track is
higher. Less if you want a popular city/location, like CA or NY. |
