g*******e 发帖数: 110 | 1 came across an Interventional radiology fellow in my hospital, he is from
Eygpt. graduated from med school there and did several years of residency.
applied for fellowship directly in the States without any training here, all
he needs is passing step 1/2 and CSA, get accepted. he said that radiology
board will certify him if he get training in the same institution for 4
years, regardless if it is residency or fellowship. then he can practice
freely anywhere in the country. I don't think you can | U******u 发帖数: 5829 | 2 this is true.
Actually, one CMG at OSU is doing his 2nd-yr fellowship and next yr he can
take Rad board exam, if pass, he can be certified and practice anywhere at
US.
He is not the only one. Another CMG at U of C already practiced as attending
there for yrs.
That's why I invited this CMG to dok-forum for those ppl who has Radiology
background and want to go this short-cut.
But, this opportunity is very very difficult to get, you must have inner
connection and big support!
