Thank you for your formal response to John W. Hutchinson's plagiarism
allegation that I brought to Harvard University's attention on September 4th
, 2016. It is a wake-up call to all of us that plagiarism has deep-rooted in
academia and the fight against plagiarism is no easy job. Not only it
happens, but also it has the soil to grow at places like Harvard University.
I will document your findings properly and I am glad to add the Harvard
investigation section to John W. Hutchinson's plagiarism anecdote going
forward.
I already learned that Gearoid Griffin Esq. is no longer with Harvard
University when I replied his Oct. 31st email on December 22nd, 2016 to
follow up with the progress. Harvard email server responded "user unknown".
It is a pity that he didn't let me know before his departure until I figured
out from his LinkedIn profile he left his Harvard University in November
2016 as the Research Integrity Officer for SEAS.
Besides your formal response, I also receive a lot of responses from my
colleagues and friends. Almost all of them believe John W. Hutchinson have
lied, including one of John W. Hutchinson's own Ph.D. student. Well, that is
self-evident from John W. Hutchinson's own apologies and confession. Most
of them are shocked by the sheer stealing intellectual properties like this
and the knowingly backdating and fabricating story afterwards. Quite
different from what Harvard University has found. Meanwhile, some of them
expressed their concerns that Harvard University may mishandle the case. I
certainly know the mixed reputation of Harvard University on dealing with
plagiarism in the past. There has been quite some history if you search it
on the internet.
Tiffany, from your LinkedIn profile, I see you are to receive your Master's
degree from Law school of Northeastern University in 2017. Congratulations!
As a senior person, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you

As per our policy and our formal process, your inquiry has been relayed to
our Committee on Professional Conduct (CPC). Based on the review of
evidence and statements, the allegations of unprofessional conduct were
considered, determined to be unfounded, and the case is now closed. We
thank you for your patience while this matter was officially processed by
the University.
