pollinate some watermelon flowers.
Although I used the same protocol for the pollination today, I noticed some
difference for the stigma and stamen. For example, it is difficult for us to
see
if the stamen has successfully fallen onto the stigma.
Anyone has experienced this in a rainy day? Can the artifical pollination
eventually succeed?

Tomato flowers are stigma and stamen existing at the same flower.
So it doesn't need bees, but strong wind for pollination in natural
environment.
I use my electric brushtooth for pollinating tomato flowers.
It works great!
My method works for pepper too.

Fertilizer is also important.
I used organic fertilizer I made from compost.
do you use the fertilizers sold on strore? check if they are organic.

容易发臭发霉的东西都不行

You can make compost using some 'clean' methods. For example, use fruit peel.
You can use tree leaves too.
If you don't mind the smell or dirtiness, you can make compost from
egg shell, bones, meat, dairy, and yes, leftover of your meal.
Yes, they stink.

发帖数: 16778 | 10 I use 5 gallon buckets instead, which I got from Chinese restaurants.
The compost bins in lowes or homedepot are sold in $25 each.
