Material
milk bucket
tools:
nail
hammer
steps:
1: drink up all the milk
2: drill a dozen of holes at the bottom of the milk bucket using nail and
hammer. If you have a driller, that would make this process much easier.
how to use:
1: open the cap of the milk bucket. Pour the fertilzier into the milk bucket.
The opening is too small? don't worry. You can make a funnel using a soda
bottle.
2: close the cap.
3: spread the fertilzier into your lawn by shaking the milk bucket |

1) we don't often use the spreader. we are not farmers.
2) our garage are not that big. The garages are already full of junks.
The spreader is relatively big and occupies at least a corner.
3) each time when you use the spreader, you need to clean it, or it smells
stinky.
With a homemade spreader, you don't need to clean, you just throw it into
your garbage bin.

it also depends on the diameter of the hole you drill.
I drilled small holes so that the spreading is more even.
if you drill big holes,it is difficult for you to control the spreading
quantity.

Drill the holes bigger so that when you push the baby cart, the fertilzier
can fall into the ground automatically.
I don't use baby cart for spreading in my frontyard cause I am afraid my
neighbors will laugh at me doing this way.
but I use baby cart as move cart. For example, I used it to move fertilizer,
mulch etc. around my backyard.
The baby cart works like a charm.

It worked very well. Actually it is not tiring at all.
Buy fertilizer beads. The smaller, the better.
If you buy smaller fertilzier beads, you actually don't need to shake and
the beads will automatically fall into the ground from the milk bottle.
If you really don't want to shake, you can try put the milk bottle in a baby
cart. You just push the baby cart around your yard.
I don't try the baby cart method. I am afraid my neighbors will laugh at me
for doing this.
An old baby cart was used by me to move fertilzier, mulch etc. in my
backyard only.
