最近提了一个Offer,但房子被一个用现款的抢去了。感觉自己被当枪使了一回。别人当
初有个建议如下。不太清楚这个建议如何具体操作。

I would ignore the advice given here and go with the inspection contingency
so that you can inspect after mutual acceptance.
1.Do not give the seller extra time to find another offer (or manufacture
one). They will use it against you, never trust they won't look at other
offers.
2.Do not give the seller the edge in price negotiation. By the time you
complete your inspection, the seller has an edge knowing it will be harder
for you to walk away from negotiations due to time and money already spent.
3.Do not care about the future listing status. If you buy, it won't matter.
If you walk, it won't matter - seller's problem, not yours.
4.Do not ignore you initial hesitation. A typical inspection contingency is
fine by most sellers, definite red flag and should give you pause.
It is still a buyer's market, act accordingly.

啊,这也能被说成BSO?我这不是想劝楼主向前看,买房深思熟虑嘛。很多人应该都有
过看中的房子被抢的经历。

It is clearly a buyer's market for the worst of homes and a seller's market
for the best of homes.
