paid off on sept 7 but the new one will start
on sept 3. We hired a chinese broke for this refinance. She never mentioned
this to us. Who should take care of this
refund? Is this the mortgage officer's responsibility to get the refund for
us? Really appreciate your help, thank you!! |

for my case, I signed all paperwork on 8/12 and the funding day is 8/13. So
the previous loan was paid off on 8/13, but the new loan started on 8/12.

发帖数: 9308 | 8 我来说明一下。Funding day是新的Loan开始的日期，Settlement Day是旧的Loan
Payoff的日期，两者一般相差一天，所以interest overlap是两天。

我当时觉得这个是DEFAULT的，因为总听说REFINANCE要多付一天的INTEREST，最好不要
选周五作Settlement Date
所以也没多问
