最主要是把板子夹紧，然后用一个直的木条做依靠（也夹紧），就可以锯的直，也安全。
对了，还要买个好的锯片，便宜电锯自带的锯片很垃圾，去home depot花10块钱买的锯
片就非常好用了。

Or you can can get a large radial arm saw that can cut both directions (RWKR
favorite)
Anything with a cord will be powerful enough for what you need.
If all your cut ends and sides are going to be under trim pieces (baseboard), you can get away with only a corded circular saw. But takes some practice to cut length wise.

no, it's not the edge guard that i'm talking about. to use an edge guard,
you need to have one edge that is smooth and parallel to the cut line. the
jig does not require that.

我也想做个，不过光作这个也要花不少时间啊，而且实际上也是另外拿个直木条来做
guide的。有不需要直边还能切直线的jig吗？

simple and effective, built with 2 piece of scrapes, one over the other, top
one serve as fence, bottom one as cut line guide. i used it before i had
the worksite table saw. most of time you don't even need clamp, just step on
it.

好的锯片就像刀切奶酪，一划而过，没什么阻力。
