他是这样说的：
“I talked this over with my broker in charge; she feels that if we submit 2
offers at the same time knowing we can only buy 1 the seller of the home we
did not purchase could retain the earnest money but also sue for damages
due to fraud.”
版上有很多递多个offer的例子，有谁明白这方面的law吗？请指教。多谢！ |

发帖数: 834 | 6 多谢各位的建议， 我是这样想的， 如果一个offer先被接受，可以马上终止另一个。
如果运气不好，两个offer被同时接受，只接受其中一个offer，甘愿损失另一个offer
的earnest money.不知这样可行吗？另一个卖家会起诉我吗？

二个下Offer的。

发帖数: 2071 | 9 当然可以了。我们这儿都是这么买房子的。银行动辄需要3个月以上to process the
short sale，然后还不一定批。凭什么要求我死等不去看别的啊。买自住房的等着住，
买投资房的认为现在的timing很好，都等不起。我觉得现在银行的policy事实上鼓励大
家多交offer。
如果都被accept了，你还有inspection contingency and sometimes loan
contingency. 通常是17天。在这17天里面you basically can just walk away. 签
offer的时候卖家可能会要求缩短这个window到10天什么的。也有的bank owned/short
sale要求不给contingency的，但那是exception.
earnest money 也不是下offer的时候就被取走的。Earnest money only becomes
theirs to keep after the 17-day window. 还“sue for damages
due to fraud”，搞笑，吓唬谁呢。她/他要真这么觉得 |

agreement with him, which will be expired by the end of June. Dose anyone
has suggestion on changing an agent with whom I had an official agreement?

确实只能让他帮你下offer了。
