一个方向倾斜，可能是地基下沉造成的，叫settlement，建议我们请structural
engineer来看。report还没出来，但肯定是要向seller提了。
本来还挺喜欢这个房子的。可能以前没注意，inspection时才发现。现在觉得这个房子
可能没戏了，像是房子结构的问题。
大家有没有碰到过类似的问题，是不是很难解决呀？唔唔唔，为了房子已经折腾几个月
了，好不容易offer接受了，还这样。想象前两个offer都没争过人家，这个房子没人争
还挺高兴。现在想象，可能是别人看房子的时候已经注意到这一点了。。。。 |

一个很深的钢架到地底，可能还要多次修。钱方面要大出血。
看其他房子吧。如果好修，房主早就修了。 |

cracks on the walls, ceiling within the upstair hallway, master bed room and
master bath room, as well as to door flaming that is bowed or out of plumb,
and doors that don't latch"
Our agent already got the report and will discuss with us this afternoon.
But it looks like we don't even need to ask for a structural engineer report
from seller. I think we'll give up.

First of all, the structural guys will put on a lot of markers on the walls/
ceilings/floors to figure out whether there is any shift and how much and in
which direction and in which part and so on so forth. Did LZ notice any
signs of markers on the walls? If not, nothing has been done yet.

don't think they will do anything without being asked. The whole house was
not well maintained actually. This is a regular sale house but it is almost
sold as is except that the appliances in kitchen were updated.

it, more or less, and then put it on market as "renovated".
I'd never buy a "renovated" house unless I can find out what were the
problems and what have been done. Many bad handy men just do the easy job to
cover up the problems.
