"All mortgage payments are due on the first of the month; and are considered
late on the second. However, you have 15 days from the due date to make
your payment without paying a penalty."
Although no penalty, they did not tell me if there is any extra interest if
I pay late. I am very much curious: if there is not penalty of any kind,
what is sense to set 1号 as the due date? Why not simply use 15 号 ?

我也同意你的说法，要是没有penalty的话，为什么dueday要是1号，而不设成15号呢？
