innovative, radical and exciting, why can't young OS-es such as ubuntu??

Vista 出来的时候怎么样，hehe 那可是 XP 5 年后了
不过 Linux 本来就花头不多，
要新界面，装 KDE 4.4
马上就 huge innovation 了 :)

You can install KDE from GNOME desktop by apt-get install @kde-desktop. |

GUI、3D 还是挺好玩的
只是传统的看法是 UI 没啥挑战性，所以都宁可去钻 kernel 的牛角尖

You should look at what KDE has done, to comment on the "dirty work" for
average joe.
GNOME is disappointing at best, it is downright stupid at times.
Try try opensuse.
