A fast growing Biotech company NJ is seeking a Senior R&D Manager, position

• Lead on the company’s R&D strategic planning and new technology
platforms
Innovations; Initiate and develop effective plans and strategies for
technology development
• Responsible for R&D budgeting, systematic planning, patent
applications, as well as the organization and implementation of all research
and development projects
• Oversee R&D team building and development; supervise and
influence team members business performance and accountability, create
positive working environment
• Supervise the design of experimental protocols and new research
directions
• High sensitivity and acumen about the industry market trends and
biotechnology changes;
Qualification:
• Ph.D. or MS in cellular and molecular biology, synthetic biology,
or a related field of life science
• 3-5 years of relevant post-doctoral and/or industry experience
preferred
• Prior extensive experience in the applications of synthetic
biology, laboratory techniques such as RNA and DNA extraction, primer design
, PCR amplification/purification, Next Generation Sequencing, sequence
assembly, sequence writing and editing and base, assay troubleshooting, site
-directed mutagenesis, cloning
• International travel required, it is estimated that 50% of the
working time will be spent overseas and the other 50% in the states |
