自2012开始的Biotech板块膨胀至今已经历时2年有余，其泡沫成分要远甚Social
Network、Big Data与Cloud板块。自上周五（3/21/2014）以来， 一则美国众议员质疑
GILD新近获FDA批准的抗丙肝药物Sovaldi价格过于昂贵的报道，让包括GILD, CELG,
REGN, BIIB, AMGN, ALXN等巨头在内的整个生物制药板块遭遇了滑铁卢。
Biotech崩盘的原因：
1、Biotech板块股价不断推高，许多机构开始减仓锁利，如Biotech方面的著名投资公
司及庄家Baker Brothers最近减持了50%的GILD头寸。
2、尽管花街一再推高Biotech股票的目标价格，但该板块的增长潜力已经倍受怀疑，一
有风吹草动，即可导致获利盘疯狂出逃。

找工时经常在版上问问题，多谢各位ID指教。现在找工暂时告一段落，写写我的经验吧
，回报本版。
版上不缺找SDE工作的经验，我找Biotech研究职位，正好给这方面一些经验。我在小
biotech做了将近5年，想跳槽。前一段biotech研究工作不是太好找，我找了好一段时
间，到夏天突然来了几个on-site，可能形式转好了吧。最后得到2个offer，一个是比
较注重研究，有稳定产品利润biotech, 另一个是bigpharma。最后从了bigpharma。找
这方面工作的ID多努力，现在机会还是不少的。
我觉得最重要的是背景符合，你的研究和雇主的需要吻合了，这个工作就有戏。不过做
biotech方面研究背景完全符合不容易，投简历时不要介意自己和job description的差

1. 现在是sector rotation造成biotech回调还是说有什么biotech sector基本面的风
险在渐渐变大（我个人看不太清，但是中期选举是否对医保方案会有些影响我不是很了
解）
2. 究竟是GILD一支股票的回调拖动了biotech板块变弱还是biotech板块自身的原因很
弱恰好碰上GILD也正在回调？(说实话我个人看不清，但倾向后者)
3. GILD回调的主因是自身基本面变化还是前期涨得太多正常回调？(说实话我看不太清
但倾向后者)

一家，工作在PA的
美国总部.
工作都是FDA申报之类的。
我是生物硕士，偏重功能基因组和基因克隆，没有industry工作经历。我本人更偏向于

1,到底对那个有利，据说是biotech可以利用大药厂的制造能力？
2，CMO 有没有大量与biotech合作这样避免biotech被合并？
3，现在有不少议员要推动把 biologics 从generics 中分离出来。这个是不是也是大
药厂并购biotech 的前提啊？

湾区有好多biotech或者pharmaceutical的职业协会，比如：CACO 我去过一两次 那个
经常开个什么seminar 去的人还是很多的很多是湾区一些biotech公司的 老中老美都有
去 network也和别人交流 说不定能找到一些新的机会 那个网站上也会贴出来一些工作
的
而且如果有机会的话尽量去认识一些UCSF的人 那个地方生化的人很多 精英也不少 反
正就是开阔自己的眼界吧 |

做， 至少基本面很清楚。 在clinical trial中做假的也不多见。
阻碍大家投资biotech的主要原因大概就是
１） 增发
２） 追涨被套
３） FDA决定， 二三期实验的不可预测性
解决办法：
１） 这个没办法控制
２） 搞好估值会避免大量避免这中情况的发生
３） 不赌就好
结论: 只要不赌， 不妄想一夜帐户翻几翻， 是不会被搞得很惨的。 |

药厂，biotech都不行， 那研发不只有去学术圈了。。。
生物医药我觉得将来的趋势就是越分越细， 药厂， biotech， CRO, 学校， 研究所，
医院各司其职。 药厂的优势在于靠近销售市场，制药工程，研发不可避免是急功近利
型的； biotech适合小团体搞高新技术， 风险大利润高；CRO解决简单重复的科研劳动
， 关键是提高科研效率； 学校重基础兼顾教学培养后备， 研究所专注科研， 尤其是
利国利民但短期利益不好的（否则企业会做啦）； 医院还是临床。 |

，因为家庭原因再找DC metro area 工作。
电话面试了一个在Maryland的中等规模biotech（非药厂）公司，背景十分match，面试
也很顺利， HR 说我是top candidate，问我想要的salary range， 我说85K-90K，
HR 说超过他们的范围了， 说我现在的工资（少于80K）在他们的范围之内。 我说我在
midwest， 消费非常非常低 BLA BLA，HR 说要跟Manager讨论一下，如果不能达到我的
要求就不浪费我的时间进行下一轮面试了。。。。

传统来说, biotech更倾向于研究大分子, big pharma更倾向于研究小分子.
但因为近年来新药研究速度越来越慢: 对比一下, 1998年FDA有198个NDA,
之后就逐年减少, 到04年是56个, 05年只有33个. 所以大公司都在找小公司
做diligent, 共同开发三期临床, 而这些小公司也管自己叫biotech. |

Tshirt就去？
我不喜欢穿西装短裙，穿个白衬衫加普通黑裙子行吗？还是一定要套装加丝袜？

发帖数: 1 | 47 背景介绍：本人生物phd，博后2年，有身份，现在midwest一家biotech公司工作了2年
，因为家庭原因再找DC metro area 工作。
电话面试了一个在Maryland的中等规模biotech（非药厂）公司，背景十分match，面试
也很顺利， HR 说我是top candidate，问我想要的salary range， 我说85K-90K，
HR 说超过他们的范围了， 说我现在的工资（少于80K）在他们的范围之内。 我说我在
midwest， 消费非常非常低 BLA BLA，HR 说要跟Manager讨论一下，如果不能达到我的
要求就不浪费我的时间进行下一轮面试了。。。。
我面试前做了研究，因为此公司总部在boston， 所以glassdoor 和H1BDATA 都找不到
同样title的薪水，85K-90K是我自己按照别的职位location估算的。而且看到有人在
glassdoor上抱怨说工资低。
我就想问一下大家，
1. 我报出的范围是否合理，因为之后可能还有别的职位的面试，不想因此断送后面
的面试机

发帖数: 4348 | 49 １） 不赌： 以VVUS为例， 昨天跑进去等今天的结果就是纯赌博， 我们不应该因为今
天VVUS大涨（包括前阵子的HGSI大涨）就鼓励这种行为。
真正的biotech玩家应该是在event前打埋伏， 等到量高价升的时候派发出去， 最多留
一小部分free run 来做赌博之用。
２） 多元化： 既指投资对象的pipeline， 又指投资者自己的portfolio， 不要重仓
压宝在某一两支股票上。
３） 做好估值： 对于FDA批准后药品的市场大小 (sale, peak sale)， 份额， 渗透
率， 合作情况 royalty， 要有一个起码的认识， TA很可能在FDA的决定或者是二，三
期结果出来以后才有用 （我承认我对TA在FDA play上面的作用一直持怀疑态度）。
Biotech也是股票， 股票的估值最后还是要落实在盈利上面。
４） 耐心： 对于看好了的long-term pick， 一旦进入， 不要乱动， 做好三年不动
， 一动就是十倍的准备。 |

发帖数: 4348 | 50 Biotech是适合把一百块钱搞成一千块钱的地方， 但是想从一千块钱变成五千块钱却很
难。
主要是因为小biotech每个季度都亏钱， 好不容易药批了， 又没人买，时不时的得搞
个增发什么的来补充一下， 要不然没钱上trial。 唯一的想头就是最后成功卖身。 |
