发帖数: 15480 | 1 今天收到了uscis的据信，转b2木有通过，原因是和外国没有紧密联系，所以觉得最终
不会回国，这个可能就是传说中的移民倾向吧。以前有三个米国签证，看来现在还是比
较严格的。。。俺已经出境换了新h1b所以无所谓了。这里把时间说一下给其它童鞋做
个参考，心里有点谱。
6。1是理论最后一天工作，递转换身份申请。
一周左右时间收到receipt.
8.1 h1b approve.
8.11 收到uscis的notice of decision. 上面的日期是8.6。
俺当时木有statement说明为什么转换身份是临时的。可能这个也有影响。不过俺也不
知道应该说啥。另外有这么一段：
the fact that the applicant is requesting a change of status to that of a B
shows the applicant's actual intent to utilize the B simply to maintian
status in the interim period until the applicant is able to secure another
valid employment based nonimmigrant classification. using the B to maintain
status until an employment based nonimmigrant classification can be secured
is in direct violation of the requirement prescribed under section 101(a)(15
)(b) of the act.
总之处理时间比想象的快一些，这个对layoff的童鞋不是好事。
下面一段可能算好的一面：
the applicant may remain in the current nonimmigrant status until the
expiration date indicated on the i94. hwoever, should the applicant fail to
maintain nonimmigrant status or should the current nonimmigrant status
expire, the applicant must depart the United states..... if the date listed
on the form i94 has already passed, the notice of decision leaves the
applicant without lawful immigrantion status and the applicant is hereafter
present in the .....in violation of the law and is required to depart the
united states immediately.
俺不太理解具体法律，算是给layoff身份有麻烦的童鞋提个醒。

我准备转F-1了，有点不懂得是，那B2没批，6月到8月你的新H-1B批下来这段时间你的
身份不是黑了吗？这对以后申请绿卡有影响吗？这种情况下新的H1B一定要出境签吗？
去哪里签容易过啊？

应该最简单，如果慢点就和律师商量吧，俺也被弄的晕头转向。 |

签的吗？不是说申请H1B时要移民局先把B2的申请批了吗？幸亏B2被拒了，如果B2 给你
批准了，是不是就又转回来了？ |
