If you quit and old company revokes H1B, USCIS will know your old H1
termination date, so your H1 transfer or change of status (to H4, F1,...)
must be filed before your H1 termination date, or the COS/EOS will not be
approved (no new I-94) | c**2

approved), you cannot enjoy H1 transfer benefit (working for new company
while H1 transfer is pending) and in fact, you should not work for current
company either, unless you have OPT or other EAD.

我是FRESH PHD。刚毕业。现在在OPT 中。
不知道我到新公司去了。
旧公司是把PENDING的H1B REVOKE吗？
那我到新公司是不是要重新申请H1B呢？新公司会不会知道旧公司已经FILE了 H1B呢？

You need to 重新申请H1B, 不会, I mean 新公司不会知道旧公司已经FILE了 H1B.

发帖数: 8496 | 8 It's better that your new company applies for H1 too, because if the first
H1 from old company is approved, your OPT will end on Oct 1, 2011. Change
of Status follows the last action rule, so USCIS may decide that you have no
F1(and OPT) after october. If you will have a new H1B from new company, it
doesn;t matter whether old company withdraw old H1 or not, because you will
just work for new company under the H1B they sponsor. | s*********k
