discovered and need to be fixed. I would like to either ask for credit to
fix them up or cancel the deal. Since the property is sold "as it is" and
the inspection is done after offer being accepted, can the price still be

It doesn't hurt by asking. All they need to do is say no. And they will most
likely say no. But you never know if you don't ask.
I bought 2 REOs, one said no, one actually gave me credit.
I am buying an as-is short sale right now. Will still ask for fixes/credits.
