1984) annualized return is 17% as of 01/27/2012.
That said, you cannot buy past performance, especially the past golden age
of the pharmaceutical companies, and I do not see there is any needs for
sector funds in most investors' portfolio....If you are indexer, why bother?
If you use active managed funds, your MFs managers hopefully are already
there if there is value.
I am disappointed that VG lower the min for VGHCX to attract money inflow,
and I feel VG is gradually becoming just another very good MF company and
leaving Mr. Bogle's legacy behind.
